Bill Gates dismisses tablets in education

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates thinks that tablets don’t meet the requirements of your practice. Rather, he shows that an inexpensive PC will be a better solution because it allows students to become “highly interactive”.

Gates was requested what changes could be needed for tablets compare unique car features in education by an interviewer in the Chronicle of Greater Education. In the response, Gates claims that: “Just providing people with devices, which has a really terrible history.Inches

The problem with tablet devices is the fact that “You need to alter the curriculum and also the teacher.”

He adds: “It’s not going to focus on a tool where you do not have keyboard-type input. I am talking about, students aren’t there simply to read things – they are designed to really create and communicate.”

This argument will work better when discussing a Kindle or similar ebook readers, but doesn’t appear to consider the supply of apps for tablet devices that provide the consumer even more than the chance to see.

But Gates believes the PC is the perfect illustration of an interactive tool. He states: “This is much more within the PC realm and what’s likely to be an inexpensive PC that allows them to be highly interactive”.

However, the restricting factor isn’t the unit a lot because the cost of access to the internet, Gates states. He suggests: “It’ll be interesting to possess special policies that allow people obtain access to that.”
